SENIOR RF TECHNICIAN

As a Senior RF Technician at COM DEV USA you will be responsible for the testing and tuning of passive microwave assemblies from component to top assembly.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Assist the Parts Screening Lab to conduct a variety of environmental tests.
• Conduct electrical tests and analysis using engineering and scientific measuring equipment and create and maintain detailed records of tests and test data.
• Assist in the development of test plans and prepare written instructions for proper performance of engineering tests.
• Perform additional required tests in compliance with COM DEV USA quality and engineering standards.
• Prepare written test results for engineering review.
• Maintain standard test equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• On an on-going basis, complete and maintain training necessary to work on flight hardware.
• Provide technical leadership and training for junior technicians.

Position Requirements:

• 10 years of related experience, testing and tuning of passive microwave devices
• Must have familiarity with automated test stations and the ability to set-up test equipment for a variety of manual RF tests.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary engineering team designing, testing and manufacturing passive microwave devices.
• Solid communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and report writing skills are necessary.
• Ability to learn proprietary software for the testing of flight hardware.
• High School diploma or GED required. Associates degree in related field is desired.
• Active DOD Security Clearance is a plus.
