SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

COM DEV USA is actively searching for a motivated and skilled professional to manage its supply chain management function. This position will be responsible for all aspects of materials management. Develop and implement supplier controls and measurement systems for all supplier activities. Manage material planning, inventory, component and fabrication, outside services purchasing and be responsible for the supervision, mentoring and training of material team members. Other responsibilities and requirements include:

• Coordinating with the contracts function on major subcontracts, which will be normally be negotiated and administered by a contracts manager
• Working with management and specialist from all disciplines to provide leadership and coordination throughout all aspects of supplier relations
• Developing and implementing procurement management plans, strategies, and processes
• Knowledge and experience in all aspects of manufacturing planning including but not limited; to EBOMs, MBOMs, Kitting, ABAD, routers and their generation, required inspection points, and tracking of hardware.
• Management of the inventory system and related processes, and monitor end-user inventory demand and materials on hand or in transit in order to optimize overall material planning.
• Management of the shipping/receiving process.
• Management of government and customer furnished property and reporting.

Position Requirements:

• 10 – 15 years of supervisory or related experience in Procurement and/or Subcontracts and Space qualified hardware production.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in the generation of procurement packages including statements of work, purchase orders, and related documentation.
• Knowledge of FAR and DAR flow down requirements.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of Oracle is highly preferred.
• A Business-related graduate degree and APICS or similar certification is highly desirable.
