ENGINEERING DIRECTOR/MANAGER - RF

This management position is responsible for providing leadership to the RF Engineering Department. The Engineering Director/Manager will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the department which includes program management, workforce planning, and research & development activities.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Manage the day to day operations of the RF Engineering Department including budgets, workforce planning, employee relations, schedules, reporting and program management support.
• Manage cost, schedule, and performance of multiple customer programs and R&D projects.
• Identify and recruit key technical talent into the organization. This may include serving as a liaison with key universities and programs.
• Serve as a mentor to engineering staff members.

Position Requirements:

• At least 20 years of experience in the design of passive microwave hardware for space applications.
• Must have extensive experience in multiplexer and filter design. Specifically UHF, S-Band, C-Band, X-Band, and KU/KA-Bands.
• Must be proficient in the use of HFSS software and other analytical tools.
• Must have experience managing technical staff including engineers and technicians and leading multi-discipline engineering teams/projects. Experience recruiting/staffing an engineering department is desired.
• M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required. Ph.D in Electrical Engineering or equivalent desired.

• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.
